The Derbyshire Asbestos Support Team (DAST) operates throughout Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire (including Boston, Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Immingham) and Burton-upon-Trent.
To help victims of asbestos support one another and overcome any feelings of isolation, DAST holds regular meetings and conferences. The organisation helps with welfare benefits and government compensation schemes and supports families and victims through regular newsletters.
To ensure there is one voice to campaign for justice for victims of asbestos-related diseases, DAST works with other groups across the country.
