Yorkshire and Humberside Asbestos Support Group (SARAG) is a charity dedicated to helping people and families who have been affected by an asbestos-related disease with free and confidential advice.
Guidance on welfare benefits and compensation, practical assistance with paperwork, drop-in sessions for victims and families, monthly group meetings, a home visit service and representation and support for formal meetings, tribunals and inquests are just some of the specialist services provided by the charity.
Thompsons works in partnership with SARAG to support its services, events and fundraising. Individuals or families who need advice on welfare benefits and support arising out of their asbestos-related diagnosis are often referred to SARAG by Thompsons’ trusted team of asbestos specialists.
