Marion is one of the Thompsons’ senior associates with a specialism in industrial diseases and, in particular, asbestos-related disease.
Working from the Leeds office, Marion, having grown up and worked in the area, is known for her forensic knowledge of the asbestos history of the industries and workplaces in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the Humber. Having run complex cases worth hundreds of thousands of pounds, Marion acts as a supervisor for colleagues with asbestos-related cases.
Recognising that mesothelioma is unforgiving and her clients are often facing the most tragic of circumstances, Marion pursues all her cases as quickly as possible for their maximum value and, wherever possible, she seeks funding for treatment costs not available on the NHS. At the same time, she keeps regular contact with her clients explaining the law and procedures in plain English throughout.
When not in the office Marion is a horse rider, a netball player and a follower of football.
