Paul is a highly experienced senior personal injury lawyer, specialising in all asbestos-related disease claims for trade union clients across Yorkshire and Humberside. Paul is based in the firm’s Leeds office.
Paul qualified as a solicitor in 2003 and has built up his knowledge and skill over the years, handling personal injury claims for asbestos-related diseases, asthma, dermatitis, work-related upper limb disorders (WRULD), hand and arm vibration syndrome (HAVS), hearing loss and injuries as a result of accidents. Â
Paul now focuses on asbestos-related disease claims. He deals with a wide range of cases including mesothelioma, asbestosis, pleural thickening and asbestos-related lung cancers. Paul aims to get the maximum amount of compensation for his clients and is undeterred by even the most difficult to prove cases. Paul knows that no amount of money will make up for someone facing a terminal diagnosis, but help with medical expenses and making life easier for victims and their families is a driving force. Â
Working quickly, sensitively and sympathetically, Paul guides members and their families through the whole legal process, making sure they have access to the best medical advice and receive interim payments.Â
Paul has good links with trade unions locally and will often attend retired members' branch meetings.
Paul is a dedicated champion of trade union members who have been injured at work and his drive to get justice for them sits well with Thompsons ethos of working solely for victims and never for big insurance companies.
