Ben trained as a solicitor while working at Thompsons and has been an executive on the firm’s employment matters team for more than a decade.
Focusing primarily on unlawful discrimination claims, Ben provides employment advice and representation to trade unions and their members, including during employment tribunal claims.
Ben is driven by a passion for standing up for trade union members who have experienced poor treatment at work and seeking the best possible outcome on their behalf.

- Ensured a £30,000 for a care worker in a disability discrimination claim after a job offer that had been made to the client was withdrawn on the basis that she was not mentally and physically fit, despite advice from Occupational Health that she was medically fit for the role.
- Secured £100,000 for a union member in her employment tribunal claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination arising from disability, and a failure to comply with the duty to make reasonable adjustments.
