David Jones has extensive employment rights experience, not only at Thompsons, but as a lawyer working in other firms as well. Before qualifying, David had hands on experience as a workplace union representative.
David’s front line industrial experience encouraged him to qualify as a solicitor several years ago and he has since dealt with claims for unfair dismissal, breach of contract, redundancy, whistleblowing, victimisation and discrimination (with a particular focus on disability discrimination).
David knows first-hand the difference that good advice and representation can make and is proud to deliver a first class service to those who have been on the receiving end of poor treatment from their employer.
Away from his work desk, David is a qualified Aikido instructor and is involved in the management of a local club for the Japanese martial art.Â
