Angela’s case experience

  • After the Ministry of Defence refused to concede liability for a soldier’s loss of hearing and tinnitus following an explosion. Angela issued court proceedings and advised the client to reject an initial offer of ÂŁ25,000 and instead successfully secured a settlement for ÂŁ40,000.
  • Angela secured ÂŁ4,000 compensation for a railway worker client who's employer admitted to exposing him to high levels of vibration, but refused to concede it had caused hand arm vibration syndrome.
  • Angela secured a settlement for a steelworker who developed hearing loss and tinnitus after prolonged exposure to excessive levels of noise. The employer conceded liability, but denied it had caused the symptoms.
