Fiona’s case experience

  • Fiona won substantial compensation for factory worker Ian Slowther, who lost his right leg below the knee when he was involved in an accident at work. Ian had been trying to walk over a conveyor belt which suddenly started up and dragged him feet first into the rollers.
  • Fiona secured £13,000 in compensation for her client who suffered the trauma of a highly invasive operation for breast cancer only to be told she did not have the condition.
  • Fiona was successful in a case involving Home Group, an employer in Whitehaven, who routinely provided workers with ladders that were too short to reach heights and failed to train staff in the safest way to work at heights. They paid compensation after a labourer suffered a serious hernia.
