UK's sick pay problem

Although workers have been told they can stay home for a shorter period if they fall ill during the pandemic, that doesn’t help those who get little or no pay.

Levels of discomfort

In a claim for impairment discrimination, workers can still compare themselves with someone who has a similar complaint, as long as theirs is more pronounced.

Flexible extension

Workers can agree to their appeal being heard outside the usual time period attaching to claims for flexitime, but that does not mean they agreed to extend it.
