The Cumbria & Lancashire Asbestos Support Advice Group (CLASAG) offers victims of asbestos-related diseases an opportunity to meet and share their experiences with people in similar situations.
The friendly sessions hosted by the group provide peer-to-peer support, as well as help and advice from professionals including palliative care professionals, dieticians, cancer care professionals and complementary therapists.
Thompsons supports CLASAG with its awareness raising activity and action against asbestos, and campaigns with the group for the removal of asbestos from schools and public buildings. Thompsons’ team of trusted asbestos specialists also provides legal support to victims and their families.
